  • What is your involvement with the San Diego AMA?

When I moved here from Massachusetts 3 years ago I wanted to get involved in the AMA to learn about the local marketing community and meet my fellow marketers.  I quickly became involved as a volunteer and have now enjoyed participating on the board as VP of Programming where I have the opportunity to  serve our members and the general marketing community by delivering educational and networking events.

  • What is a brand you admire, and why?

I admire those brands who understand and capitalize on the opportunity to turn customer problems into customers advocacy.  Locally, I admire the Cohn Restaurant Group who trains their employees to respond to every customer request, regardless of how unusual it is, with “Absolutely,…”

Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’ – Martin Luther King, Jr.

  • What is your favorite book?

Jeff Bezos of Amazon who among other things, pioneered the now common use of predictive analytics in marketing to consumers.
