Marketing Specialist (non-exempt)



Under limited supervision the Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and executing marketing, advertising, digital, new business development and promotional objectives for the Wawanesa General Insurance Company.


 Organize and contribute to creative and production processes for the U.S. Operations including, but not limited to, marketing, advertising, promotion, online, direct marketing, and new business development/sales.

 Strong emphasis to monitor, update, engage and develop content for digital assets/social media to ensure promotion of brand and consumer/customer engagement.

 Execute, analyze, and coordinate marketing research to examine awareness, share of voice, conversion rates, market factors, customer/user experience, competitor trends, and advertising effectiveness.

 Analyze data, develop analytic reports and identify industry best practices to provide business intelligence to execute data driven decisions to support company strategic goals.

 Process, track, and analyze expenditures to ensure compliance with department’s annual budget.

 Partner with leadership and executive office to support cross-departmental and enterprise wide marketing and business development needs including, but not limited to, presentations, collateral development, digital copy/social media promotion, employee engagement, internal/external initiatives and company events.

 Supervise and audit vendor relationships

 Perform other duties as assigned
