Allison Bawden is the current Earned Media Chair of the American Marketing Association, San Diego Chapter. She entered this role in 2019 to aid in the development, planning and executing of the social media marketing programs and community outreach for the organization.
Ms. Bawden has experience specializing in creating comprehensive communications programs for nonprofit, education, government and social services clients where she was responsible for developing strategic, integrated plans that include marketing, public relations, social media, outreach and recruitment tactics. She has managed community awareness, behavior change, and advertising campaigns.
She is the Marketing and Community Relations Specialist for the West-Coast based law firm, Klinedinst PC, where she oversees business development, community relations, and firm engagement tactics. She helps attorneys and clients alike take advantage of new opportunities while protecting their business from current and future threats.
In addition to being an active member of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce Young Leaders, Ms. Bawden also serves on the Community Advisory Board of Project Concern International.
Ms. Bawden received her BA in Journalism and Media Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations at San Diego State University and has extended her knowledge of the industry through previous employment in editorial publication and at a marketing agency, where she executed public relations and marketing strategies that built awareness and brand reputation.
