A passionate marketer who loves every aspect of bringing together people with solutions that solve a problem or address a need, Linda has extensive marketing experience in both early-stage companies and new ventures in mature organizations. Her track record includes developing go-to-market market strategies, new product launches, re-invigorating challenged brands, creating positioning and messaging, integrated communications strategies, and creating results-oriented marketing programs that drive revenue. Linda is passionate about building effective teams, mentoring employees and collaborating to drive results. Linda holds a B.S. in Business Management from UNH, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
- What is your involvement with the San Diego AMA?
When I moved here from Massachusetts 3 years ago I wanted to get involved in the AMA to learn about the local marketing community and meet my fellow marketers. I quickly became involved as a volunteer and have now enjoyed participating on the board as VP of Programming where I have the opportunity to serve our members and the general marketing community by delivering educational and networking events.

Connecting with other marketers and learning about the ever-changing marketing world. It’s such an exciting time to be in marketing!
- What is a brand you admire, and why?
I admire those brands who understand and capitalize on the opportunity to turn customer problems into customers advocacy. Locally, I admire the Cohn Restaurant Group who trains their employees to respond to every customer request, regardless of how unusual it is, with “Absolutely,…”
- What is your favorite quote?
Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’ – Martin Luther King, Jr.
- What is your favorite book?
“Kiss, Bow, or Shake Hands: The Bestselling Guide to Doing Business in More than 60 Countries” by Terri Morrison. Marketing is all about understanding people, and this book was a useful introduction to the business customs of many countries.
- What business figure inspires you the most?
Jeff Bezos of Amazon who among other things, pioneered the now common use of predictive analytics in marketing to consumers.
- What is your one gold nugget of wisdom?
Life is attitude.
