Head of Global Communications
Cheryl develops and leads the corporate communications strategy for Sony North America. She oversees executive and financial communications, corporate social responsibility programs and employee communications. As Sony’s spokesperson, Goodman also serves on industry associations such as the Consumer Electronics Association and the Digital Entertainment Group.
Prior to her executive appointment at Sony, Cheryl led Athena San Diego, a professional association serving women in science and technology. Her background also includes nearly a decade in business development and marketing at Qualcomm. She earned a host of accolades for the organization’s transformative technologies and picked up multiple professional awards for her entrepreneurial leadership style – including Marketing Leader of the Year in 2010. Prior to Qualcomm, Cheryl served for well-known startups Linspire and MP3.com.
Cheryl began her media career as a broadcast journalist at KGTV and KFMB, ABC and CBS news affiliates in San Diego, California.
Vice President, Global Marketing
Michael currently serves as Vice President, Global Marketing for NuVasive, the $1B, San Diego-based leader in spine technology innovation. Michael is responsible for leading the Company’s marketing strategy, including launch, commercialization, customer experience, digital and brand strategy.
Prior to joining NuVasive, Michael was Global Marketing Director, Medication Management Solutions, at Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), leading the marketing team for the $2B division supporting evidence generation, competitive intelligence, brand, global messaging and communication, and global registration within BD Medical.
Michael also held numerous marketing leadership roles at CareFusion, Inc., including Head of Corporate Marketing and Brand, and Director of Marketing, Dispensing Technologies, and led the global brand roll-out in more than 120 countries for the new publicly traded company (CFN).
Michael received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, currently serves on the Point Loma Nazarene Fermanian School of Business Marketing Advisory Board and coaches the Fermanian School of Business Marketing Principles course.

Seth has spent the past decade helping colleges and universities launch, grow and manage high-profile on-campus and online programs. Known as one of the industry’s leading enrollment marketing talents, he’s worked with over two dozen institutions, from world-class research universities to small, tuition-dependent liberal arts organizations.
Seth’s work with Southern New Hampshire University is Emmy nominated and includes the university’s heralded cross-country bus tour campaign, which the Chronicle of Higher Education called “Exhibit A of Marketing Success” and “one of the most buzzed-about marketing campaigns in higher education.” In addition to SNHU, he’s spent time at UCLA, Helix Education, and founded Higher Ed Live, the industry’s first and only live weekly web show network. In 2014, Seth was named “International Brand Master” by Education Marketing Group.
