  • The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects Marketing Manager employment growth of 12.7 percent between 2012 and 2022. During that time period, an additional 22,900 jobs will need to be filled.
  • Marketing Managers earned a median annual wage of $119,480 in 2012, according to the BLS. The top 10 percent in the field earned $160,810 per year, while the bottom 10 percent earned $62,650.
  • With an average salary of $129,870 per year, Marketing Managers are well paid for their work. Marketing Managers earn slightly more than Sales Managers ($119,980) and considerably more than Market Research Analysts, who earn $67,380 per year.
