Summary:

The Director, Demand Generation manages a team of Marketing professionals responsible for brand awareness and demand generation to increase revenue and velocity of the sales pipeline. In general, the Director, Demand Generation will be responsible for determining the most appropriate means to generate awareness and action resulting in increased revenue among our target buyers. Guiding the team, they will craft and run campaigns across traditional, digital, channel, social, major and regional events, and account-based marketing efforts. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, as a member of the marketing senior staff you will also help shape and guide the overall go to market strategy and work closely with sales on the complete path to purchase experience.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Define, execute, and optimize demand generation plans across product lines and priority audiences; being accountable for creating a comprehensive, full-funnel demand generation strategy.
Develop and execute high-impact, creative programs that increase brand awareness and demand in the market.
In partnership with Sales, create an ABM program framework, including contact acquisition, development, and retention programs, making a positive impact to the Sales pipeline.
Determine the ideal tactics, messaging and timing to move key personas to action with NSC’s brands.
Collaborate with Product Marketing and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches and delivering sales enablement material, messaging and tools
Align with Channel Sales to build and execute a channel marketing partner framework that supports our strategic partners with training, certifications, sales-enablement tools, MDF, growth initiatives and sales programs, etc
Oversee the development and execution channel marketing programs that increase brand awareness and generate demand within the channel ecosystem helping increase the sales pipeline
Define the overall tradeshow and event strategy and oversee the execution of all aspects of NSC’s larger and regional shows and events.
Partner with Marketing Operations to design and deploy a measurable marketing engine, including lead management automation (Pardot) and sales force automation (Salesforce.com).
Have a data and insights-driven approach to program creation, measurement and refinement.
Understand, support and execute all work according to the established procedures of the organization

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
7+ years leading demand generation teams and implementing modern marketing strategies utilizing inbound and outbound programs in B2B direct and two-tier distribution, preferably within Technology
Experience in ABM and lead generation within high-velocity markets, a plus
Previous use and strong understanding of sales and marketing automation tools, i.e. CRM (Salesforce.com) and Pardot required
Experience across breadth of demand generation mix: inbound, digital, social, events, account-based marketing, etc.
In-depth knowledge of demand generation best practices, gleaned through a combination of work experience and frameworks, tools and processes
Capable of building strong working relationships across all levels of the company
Proven success with planning and execution of integrated and measurable marketing campaigns

Salary Range: 130k -150k annually
